Quality quality quality I bought this beautiful car for a song. Good thing I did b/c it has been in the shop frequently. Started with cores then 2 a/c compressors, now cooling system for second time and airbags and leaking hydraulic fluid. Runs great when you've got the money to keep it running. Strength:
Power when working. Sound system when the speakers are not crackling.
Weakness:
The car is falling off the frame piece by piece. Windows do not seal. The list is too long to list all items. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR! I have had nine (9) major expensive issues happen to my car. It was a lemon off the lot. The Dealership laughed in my face. They stole my trade in and never let me know how strong my credit was. They told me they were lucky to have gotten me financed and the price was the price because of it. Sold me a useless extended warranty. They would not fix the piece of junk 24 hours after it left the lot. Steve Stanfill and Don Jenkins should be in jail with deals like this. MILITARY PERSONNEL BEWARE!!!!!!

The vehicle gets poor gas mileage, an average of 21mpg. The master cylinder for the brakes leaks and has been replaced 3 times. They say fluid is being pushed out of the cap of the master cylinder. The heat shelds under the car rattle. Large blind spots make the vehicle hard to drive.I looked at a Honda and I will get one soon. |

Strength:
Great looks, very comfortable, decent gas mileage
Weakness:
Transmission sometimes can't decide on whether to shift or not, climate control crapped the bed less than a month after purchasing the car, water in the headlights, cruise control works only sometimes, auto dimming rearview mirror is starting to fade, and just blew the head gasket in a normal driving situation. Car looks awesome, rides nice, has plenty of power for normal driving. It's super comfortable like a luxury car should be. BUT, just like every other American car I've owned, it's a money pit. Time to go back to Honda. Similar Products Used: Chevy Blazer, Buick LeSabre T-Type |

Lincoln LSE
Strength:
Styling, engine performance, feel good factor when behind the wheel.
Weakness:
Transmission, electrical and general workmanship. Purchased LSE V-8 new. Carpet was cut too short and was replaced. 2 total transmission failures in first 14,000 miles. Rear windows are a constant source of operation failures. Thankfully, are problems have been repaired under warranty. Car now has 30,000 miles. Sure am glad I purchased the extended warranty. Cant wait to be able to get rid of what was my dream car. Unfortunately, however, depreciation for this car is much worse than average. Looks like I'm stuck with my dream car for awhile longer. Maybe the Koreans can do better than Ford.... Similar Products Used: Mazda, Volkswagon |

central consule, brakes. great value.this is the best you can get for your money,i put more than 60000mi without major problems.i think the reviewers who complained above about minor problems or some nonsense things never ever owned luxury vehicle before, first of all the luxury level vehicles are not reliable compare to mid -size or compact class(they are equpied with so much featurees and computer controll functions),second needs special maintenance interval schedule and third of all and most important is knowing your driving expectation.all complaines made above about the power windows, sparking plugs coils, brakes etc.. are not aceptible, complains about design, tranny, engine are aceptible.this ford product stands higher compere to assian luxury vehicle and bit lower compere to eurpeans luxury vehicles(finishing quality is beter and engineering management is beter on europeans models)on the end don't forget that luxury cost a lot. Weakness:
Continuous engine defect that. I purchased my 2000 Lincoln LS in 2003. Up until last year car ran great, but now I am constantly replacing engine coils. Lincoln service technicians tell me it's a known problem with LS's. To me sounds like an engineering defect lincoln does't want to own up to. Car looks nice but that's it. I will never by another Licoln or any dometically made car! |

When I park the car and leave it alone the sunroof opens, all four doors unlock and all four windows go down by themselves. I had it in the garage last fall and it stopped for a while but now has resumed. Additionally one side of the airvents will blow cold air and the other side will blow hot air. I am afraid to park the car and leave it becaue it unlocks itself and puts the windows down. Has any one else had these problems. The mechanic said it is electrical problems but has not been able to fix it. |

Strength:
Its a pretty car, but thats it.
Weakness:
Shabby construction on the inside.
I hate this car. This is my first Lincoln, I've always driven Cadillacs and loved them. This LS has cost me so much money I could have bought 2 Cadillacs buy now. Its just falling to pieces, the ash tray wont even open. Plastic parts fall off, I dont know alot about mechanics but my husband finds something wrong with it everyday. Piece of junk, my damn windshield wiper flew off going down the road. Two of my friends bought one and theirs are falling apart also. Similar Products Used: Cadillac Deville, Lexus 400 |
