Speakers are now having problems.I've seen a Lexus in a fender bender-these cars crumple up like paper while the Benz suffered a moderate size dent.

The Lexus LS 430 is probably the best car on the road. I’ve owned a Lincoln Town Car, Lincoln LS, Cadillac and others. The Town Car has almost no Gadgets, but does offer a very smooth ride and a trunk that’s almost big enough for “Room for a pony”. The Lincoln LS is strictly a sports car with plenty of Gadgets. If you want to “feel” the road this is a nice luxury sports car. However, if you want the ultimate car then the Lexus LS 430 is the one. The Lexus LS 430 offers more than enough engine power. Gadgets and power buttons are more numerous than you’ll ever need. There are cubby-holes galore for storage. The ride is quiet and smooth. The engine is so quiet that it’s difficult to know if it’s running or not when you start the car. With a DVD based navigation system it’s able to cover the entire US unlike CD based systems in other cars. It has a sound system that equals or surpasses my expensive home system. Service: The Lexus of OKC sales and service department treats you like a special guest. You are assigned a Service Advisor which becomes well acquainted with you and your car. This makes things much easier by dealing with the same person each time. This is the first time I’ve ever seen the service tech’s ware white gloves while working on certain parts of the car. They even wash the car after its serviced. The only problem I had was a rattle in the door which was promptly fixed. Summery: Read the reviews from owners of other cars you are considering, then test drive them. I think you’ll agree that the Lexus LS 430 is hard to beat.

Slow Accleration ( especially the 3 speed Automatic) Get the 4 Speed Automatic. The Alternator and Starter usually goes out around about 90,000, but it is to replace and will probably last another 90,000. Another Complaint I have about the Prizm is that the rear is very tight Its hard to get your Friends to ride with you because of the seats.

I Have 1995 Geo Prizm it has 117,000 Miles on it. It is very reliable. It also gets very good gas mileage. The Prizm is stable and solid. The suspension is very good giving the car a smooth ride. This car is for anyone who is looking for a second car or someone who is looking to buy their child that first car.

I purchased ultra luxury edition March 2001 and now have 32000 miles on it. After buying 8 new Mercedes over the years, I tried a Lexus. Nice car, drives more like a Cadillac than a German car. I have had some problems and it took several trips to the dealer to resolve.Don't treat it like a sports sedan or you will end up in a ditch.

I would like to mention a few things in a few categories though. The acceleration on this vehicle is EXCELENT, it goes 0-60 in 6.3 sec. That by itself beets the Mercedes S430 which costs $15,000 more then this. Not only that, but The Mercedes comes with nothing important standard. The Lexus sound system will KILL any other cars sound system, whether it's a $100,000 Mercedes, or the Bose Infinity system. Lexus had a Mark Levinson sound system which is far better then any other sound system in the world, even better then some home theater systems. Mark Levinson is the designer of home theater system which cost a starting price of over $100,000. Mark Levinson has selected LEXUS, NOT MERCEDES OR BMW. As far as gizmos and gadgets go, let me say that it is just as good as the sound system, which means that they are also PERFECT. This car had everything from PERFECT styling (Interior, and exterior) to PERFECT performance, to PERFECT comfort and quality. The fit and finish on this car is far better then any other vehicle I have seen. EVERTHING on or in or outside of this vehicle works PERFECTLY. Why pay $15,000 more for a Mercedes that has 15 Horse Power less then this, 20 Pounds-feet of torque less then this, and that has nothing of importance standard on it? You shouldn’t. This is the Perfect vehicle, whether you seek excitement, pleasure, or just transportation. This car lacks NOTHING. The Lexus DVD based nav. system is far better then any other I have seen, including the Mercedes s-class, and the BMW 7 series’. Everything. the Lexus LS 430 is just a magnificent work of art.

Absolutely none!

The Lexus Ls 430 beats MB and BMW anyday. The ergonomics in the interior are simple and the Mark Levinson Sound System with Navigation are flawless options. Inside the engine cannot be heard and at 80mph it feels as if you are floating on air. The handling is tight, even more than the BMW's.

I graduated from school on time, so my parents granted me updating my ride ('00 Acura 3.2 TL, sport/luxury car wannabe with decent engine + tranny, but lacking refinement, esp. in quality). My pick at the time was used ('00 or '01) Mercedes S430 / S500, because my budget was limited. Looking around in Chicago area, the condition of most the used Mercedes were total turn-off (I personally don't mind a used mercedes, but my dad is "allergic" to used cars). I turned to Lexus because for the same budget, I got a BRAND NEW LS 430, and a friend of mine who loves mercedes assured me that Toyota (not mercedes) build quality cars. Also, my Dad wants me to concentrate on my grad school instead of repairing my car.

I love this Lexus model. The car is easy to handle, gas isn't toooo bad (if you compare it to my ferrari), it has a nice look to it, and it is roomy inside. It also has a nice feature, automatic car door opener. One of my favorites. The engine sounds good when you turn on the car. The navigation system is a big help to my hubby. This car is an all around goody. I recommend this car to everybody that likes great things.
