FUDU
Strength:
Sound, Luxury, Soft Leather
Weakness:
Can't corner properly, had to upgrade wheels and tires to correct that. After an upgrade on the wheels and tires, this car is a lot of fun to drive. Great Car, Enjoyed all the Luxury - Sound System, Power Seats, Leather, Moon Roof etc etc... but it did not handle well enough, so I took out the standard 15' Wheels and put IS300's 17 inch wheels. Now I can do quick corners and always stay in lane even at high speeds. And it's a lot of fun to drive. No problems at all, very reliable. Similar Products Used: BMW 328i ( saved 10,000 ) |

Strength:
Great looking, fun to drive, I tomarrow I plan to fill the gas tank for the first time since I got it!
Weakness:
So-so sound system, stupid cup holder position, weak engine, when you use the key-remote lights do not flash so it's hard to tell weither it locked or not... I just got my ES300 for a 17th birthday gift and I love it. I don't know the car totally well yet, so I can't really give a fair judgement, but as of now it's an incredible car to drive, at least compared to what I was driving before, which was one of my parent's Lincoln Town Cars. It's very fun to drive on short trips and around the city, but it wouldn't be my first chioce on long trips(100 miles or more).. |

Weakness:
Engine and ABS Once i was driving down a steep hill and it was raining and i appyied brakes hard and the abs kicked in and then the steering wheel turns toward the left and it discontinued turning left because the ABS stoped it but i think theres something wrong with the ABS Very comfortable car and very pepy and stock radio is ok and overall its a good contender.... Similar Products Used: Ive own many different cars like Audi, Honda, BMW, Acura and i will probably choose this car over all of them |

Strength:
Comfortable seats no matter how you put it.
Weakness:
Pickup and sunroof noise when closed. This car has been one of the better vehicals I've owned. It's sleek style suits my visual needs. The front-end style catches the glance from onlookers alike. I choose the car in green. The front-center arm compartment makes good use of a small bucket of ice and a bottle of red wine. Similar Products Used: Not to many out there. |

ES300
Strength:
Refined presentation, Japanese-made, great Lexus workmanship, luxerious, Toyota/Lexus quality
Weakness:
Not spacious, cramped interior, small trunk, sort of overpriced I found the car a very refined presentation in or out. You can expect every single bit of tranditional Lexus workmanship on the car. The car offers alot of gadgets, such as auto light control, dual heated seats, windows controlled by your key, etc. that makes it a fun car to drive. Power is good, and the car has great visibility. The only real weakness I found with the car is that the interior is very small. The headroom is bad especially if you have a moonroof. Similar Products Used: None |

STYLE IS GREAT BUT NOT FOR 5 YEARS THE SAME STYLE!!
Weakness:
ENGINE! Ok well I think that LEXUS Should really get over there style on this ES300 I mean what's up with the same style for 5 years? Come on I think they could put a sportier look on this car to atleast go head to head with the Acura TL i mean 200hp to 210? Thats the big deal? No! This car should atleast have 230 or 240 hp and this car needs a huge boost on its engine and they should stick with the front wheel drive but overall i think the car is really good i mean i know many owners who had there ES300 for years and theres this one guy who has a 1997 ES300 with 110,000 miles i mean this car is good for that but for 2003 they need a new face lift and MORE i mean MORE HP!!! And a bigger engine... Similar Products Used: It doesnt compare to Acura TL or Audi A6 I mean it should BUT i think it should be compared with Hyundai Sonota V6 and Chevy Malibu V6 |

ES 300
Strength:
Reliability, ride, fit and finish, dealer service.
Weakness:
The '95 has odd placement of interior items that were moved with the '97. A bulb went out in the dash at about 90,000 and is too expensive to replace. Bought the car with 28,000 miles on odometer, and now have over 111,000 miles. Service has been excellent (the few times when I needed it), and the fit, finish, ride and amenities have been up to Lexus standards. I still get comments from others who ride with me that a car with that much mileage can be so quiet and ride so well. Similar Products Used: In reading the other entries, you can't compare this car to a BMW since the cars are built and tuned for different styles of driving and for a different audience. Mileage is very good for the car, averaging 21mpg with about 30mpg on the interstate (yes, over 70mph). |

ES300
Strength:
It rides as quietly and handles as comfortably as it did when I bought it with 10K on the odometer.
Weakness:
The engine! No, not because it is not smoothe or drinks a lot of gas. Just because it and the subsequent engines, (including the one on the 2002 model), need a lot more than 210 HP to compete with the others. I have owned a Lexus ES300 for more than 8 years now. I am still amazed at times as to how well the vehicles still rides, how it still handles and how much value that I've gotten out of it. Approaching almost 170,000 miles, nothing but normal maintenance has been involved and it is still sweet. Now I've seen a picture of the 2002 Lexus and I must say, except for the rear end, it is going to be "cookin' with gas" as my mother would say. However, it will have to be sizzling before I'd be willing to take a very good, paid off '92 ES300 and trade it in for this hot new model. Similar Products Used: I've driven Acura and BMW's, etc. They are good, but I still like my ES300 much better. |

ES300 Coach Edition
Strength:
Quiet, refined.
Weakness:
Smallish trunk and interior. Have had it for three months now and have 3,800 miles on it. Very pleased with the car. Exceeds our expectations. The Coach option includes HID headlights, walnut steering wheel and dash trim, heated seats, special 16" alloy wheels, special leather and a beautiful $500 Coach Cabin Bag. Sound system is great (standard system). Similar Products Used: 1995 Toyota Avalon. This was a great car. Would have automatically bought another one but do not like the looks of the 2001 model. |

Strength:
plush leatehr, great reliability, and good power
Weakness:
lights should have been hid!!!!! Very satisfied with this product. Althought the Camry v6 and the Es300 are identical, the es300 remains more Camry like. Given the opportunity to drive both, the ES is a great car by itself! Similar Products Used: Camry v6, i think Camry v6 is a better car (at the performance side)...but Lexus is better equiped with luxury! (better leather seats, better wood dash), although I still prefer the camry leather stitched streering wheel! |
