This car is beautiful! It handles very well at all speeds. It is comfortable even for a large person like me. I feel very confident behind the wheel and safe. We are very satisfied with the accelleration and performance of the engine, motors, and it shifts effortlessly. We have been lost and pushed a button and talked to someone who was able to send the information to our vehicle and it put us back on track toward our destination. We really like our HS250H.
Weakness:
Not really a con, because I am a large guy, but right knee rubs against the center console. Sometimes, knee gets sore. Everything else about the vehicle outweighs this small problem. My wife has no problem and fits nicely and actually the seats are a great fit.
We have owned this vehicle for over a year now, but it is a 2010. We like the cooling seats in the really hot weather. All in all this car handles great, it is styled beautifully, it's comfortable, performance is excellent and all the gadgets are useful and really have a purpose, they make things easier and convenient. We get 35.5 average MPG. We couldn't have purchased a finer car during this time of high gas prices and poor economy. |

Strength:
After waiting for a luxury hybrid, I'm glad Toyota decided to dress up the Prius in a Lexus body. I like the Lexus amenities. Also, it runs on regular gas.
Weakness:
1. LED headlights should be part of the Technology Package. I didn't realize I didn't have them at first. It doesn't make sense to build a Luxury Hybrid, add so many features, and leave out an important energy-saving feature. It also doesn't make sense that the Prius (V) has LED headlights standard, and has Parking Assist (not the sensors but automatic parking) and the Lexus doesn't. The other thing missing is the Lexus wood steering wheel. Overall, I think this is a great car. It is roomy enough, powerful enough, and luxurious enough. If you like the Prius or Camry Hybrid, you'll love the HS. |
