Summary: While the HF's 62 horsepower isn't going to win you any races, the mileage is outstanding. Pulls 35-40 city and nearly 60 highway on long runs, even at 70-75 mph. And with regular maintenence they should last forever. I haven't had a single problem in the 8 years I've owned mine.
Strengths: Still has a nice body style for a 10+ year old design. Nice cockpit-like interior and comfortable seats. Bulletproof reliability and great economy.
Weaknesses: Under-powered (obviously) and perhaps noisy, but hey- it's a small hatchback.

Summary: Absolutely gorgeous car. Looks great, handles well, low maintenance and is rapid to boot. Of all the standard colours, black is the best (like Mine!) looks like mini Knight Rider! Standard colours are probably better in America. 9 out of 10, purely for looks, handling and economic fule consumption. A good car for people of all ages to own. I was 20 when i got my CRX 6 months ago, the guy i bought it from was 29 and a woman down the road from me who is 53 owns one! As far as similar cars in a similar price range go, the CRX comes out on top! Please note, as I am from England, the CRX in America may not have exactly the same faults/good points.
Strengths: Fast, handles well, excellent cornering, looks sporty, economic and my particular car sounds like the ED209 from Robocop when i start the engine! High novely factor. Everyone thinks it's cool.
Weaknesses: Rust spots on the rear arches and rust bubbles around the indicators. Very heavy steering on those without power steering. Easy to wheelspin (good or bad?) Rusty sunroof - all CRX's get it. No fog lights.
Similar Products Used: The only similar car in my opinion, is the Golf GTI, but the CRX is more economical and insurance is lower. CRX more unique than the GTI

Summary: I paid $5500 and have loved this car since I got it. I would recommend it to students or people without kids, or as a sporty second car you can tweak to make a performance machine out of. It already goes fast, so it doesn't take much to make it really perform. Great aftermarket support also. The inside is comfortable, and from seeing the outside you would never assume that there was that much room in there. You can fit just about anything in the back that you could fit in a small pickup truck like a Chevy S-10 or Ford Ranger. I drove this car from Louisiana all the way to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and loved every minute of driving through there. You can't take a corner too fast in this car, and the engine loves to be revved. I just can't explain all the great qualities of this car. It just looks, rides, and drives sporty, and has plenty of utility to go with it. Take your time to find one in good shape though, you'll find it is worth it.
Strengths: Acceleration, Gas Mileage(32-34mpg), reliability(97,000 miles and runs like new), Cargo space(more than my parent's Mitsubishi Pickup!), ride quality(better than many subcompacts)
Weaknesses: Still could use a little more power, but you can put a newer 130hp or 160hp Honda engine in if you know how to or have a shop to do it.
Similar Products Used: Ford Escort, Chevy Cavalier. They just DON'T compare...

Year / Model Reviewed: 1991 DX
Summary: I have had no problems with the car or the engine. It uses a quart of oil in 3,000 miles, and has 130,000 miles. The body is near perfect after 10 years.
Strengths: I like the style of the body and the size too. I have upgraded by adding mag wheels, sunroof, cd/stereo. It handles pretty good, and easy on gas. I have had no rust, and had it repainted 1 1/2 yrs ago.
Weaknesses: Not so comfortable on a long drive.
