Price Paid:  $360.00 from eBay

Year / Model Reviewed:
1996 Integra LS Tokico Suspension Package Springs and Shocks

Summary:
I have a 96 Integra LS and replaced the stock 14in wheels to eliminate the hideous 5in of wheel well. I got 17s and low pro tires, but then the car rode an inch higher and still had too much well showing. I researched many others, price being a big factor. I didn't want a dropped look, just to get it back to stock and maybe plus an inch at most. So it was either Eibach or Tokico. I was going to go with Eibach until I read a few reviews and talked to a neighbor that experienced droop on driver side especially. These may do that later too, but at least nobody mentioned it.
You aren't supposed to use stock shocks with new springs, they may go bad quick and not ride quite right. I got the 1.5in drop front and rear springs and shocks kit for $360 on eBay, delivered. By far the best deal I'd seen. They look like candy red springs and blue shocks- you can see just a hint with them installed- mostly through wheels. Installation for a shadetree mechanic is relatively simple, it took me 8hrs with a nice easy pace and no compressor (good thing for spring tool-which is free loaner from Kragen). If I had to do it again, no manual required and it'd take 2hrs. When I dropped car- the right side was 2in higher than left and I was stressin it! But released pbrake and pulled out and it was fine. whew. Beautiful drop! tires are a little less than finger under the fender, I expect next week or two they'll be even w/fender.

Strengths:
Cheap as you can buy for full suspension kit. Perfect drop for Integra/Civic with 17s. Rides great- like stock but a little tighter.

Weaknesses:
Muffler-sparking types won't think it's low enough.

Similar Products Used:
Researched but didn't buy Eibach

Review 2 of 9

Price Paid:  $520.00 from shox.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
1992 Honda Civic Hatchback

Summary:
I have had the Tokico Advanced Handling Kit for a week so far which includes the springs and the white illumina struts. So far this is the suspension set-up that I have been looking for. The drop is smooth with 1.5" all around, and my I add that I don't need a camber kit. The struts are very comfortable as well, I like the fact that I can change the settings to my like in a matter of seconds. As for performance, their is noticable reduced breakdive, roll, pitch, and body motion. This set-up has everything; performance, and ride quality. If you are looking for these benefits get this set-up NOW!

Strengths:
Not too low or high, very smooth and stock like, you can turn up the performance when needed by adjusting damping (stiffness) and rebound, no camber kit needed

Weaknesses:
None yet!

Similar Products Used:
Sprint springs with Tokico blues

Review 3 of 9

Price Paid:  $300.00 from eBay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 Honda Civic EX

Summary:
I bought the Advanced Handling Kit, includes both the struts and springs. The ride in my opinion feels almost like stock, real comfortable, not bouncy at all, unless you're on a nasty road (what else do you expect?). The lowered height is just perfect, not too low, not too stock-looking. So far I have no complaints on this suspension set-up.

Strengths:
Feels comfortable like stock, but you can feel the difference in the overal handling and performance. The height is just perfect, not to high or not too low, just right.

Weaknesses:
None so far...

Similar Products Used:
stock suspension...feels comfortable, but like all stock suspensions, they're just too high.
