Review 1 of 9

Price Paid:  $43000.00 from Sydney

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 Lancer Evo

Summary:
I have 5 years experience in Rally motor sport and curcuit racing in Japan. All I can say is that Tein suspension is good; which means its soft, grip, and comfortable. In fact, it worn so easily and it costs a lot more than some big brands such as Bilstein. My friends and I had tested them 3 times and its not worth for money !!

I worn out after 3months used with heavy track day or street bump.

Try to use Bilstein which costs less than Tein and I garantee thats better.

OR If you have big budgets to spend, use Ohlins. This is the best

Sorry that I need to say that but I hope this explaination would help you guys to get something better and worth for that amoun of money

Strengths:
Soft, comfortable, grip (in short time)

Weaknesses:
worn out eaily, easily leak, noisy, costs

Similar Products Used:
Bilstein

Ohlins

Review 2 of 9

Price Paid:  $1300.00 from Team Noble Preformen

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 Toyota Solara

Summary:
I just got the Tein SS for my solara, all I can say is WOW. I have gown through two other supension set up, first Eibach pro kit 1.6'' drop with KYB GS-2's they were firm for about 6 months then just were so soft. Then replace the KYB with Tokico Blues. Again good for 6 months then just crap. Save your money, do it right. I have a much lower drop now and it drives 10 times better, no bounce, firm awesome.

Strengths:
Adjustable, ride hight, spring rate and damping. Great feel, awesome quality

Weaknesses:
none

Similar Products Used:
Eibach, tokico, KYB

Review 3 of 9

Price Paid:  $1300.00 from Six Autoworks

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 Acura Rsx S`

Summary:
Tein SS is definitely worth the money. After losing money on 2 previous spring/shock setups, decided to bite the bullet work some overtime and buy the TEIN SS. Only one regret, should have saved my money and bought these first

Strengths:
Easy to install, top notch quality, excellent customer service, and the option to buy the EDFC!!!!

Weaknesses:
If you go beyond the factory recommended height the ride gets very soft. So if your gonna drop it to the ground for a show, bring it back up before you go home. Price, why is the same suspension $800 for a civic and $1300 for an RSX

Similar Products Used:
eibach/Koni

Review 4 of 9

Price Paid:  $900.00 from Options Auto Salon

Year / Model Reviewed:
1995 Accord EX

Summary:
For the price some people pay for a Koni/Ground Control setup you can go with a Tein SS suspension. In other words this suspension kicks ass. Not only was it afforable but it was just as easy to install. My car now handles better than ever. The hell with straightaways, the more twists and turns the better.

Strengths:
height adjustable/ 16 way ride adjustable = gran turismo handling

Weaknesses:
none

Similar Products Used:
Ebiach Pro Kit
