from Costco Year / Model Reviewed: 2001 Subaru Legacy AWD Summary: Far superior and longer lasting than factory tires. Since we have snow and ice in the mountains where I live, I chose a tread design that would work better in this climate. They do have a harder ride, but it drives around corners on dry pavement like it was on railroad tracks, very impressive.Good for emergency manuevers.I use Studded snow tires for the hardest part of the winter, but was impressed, at how well they did on surprise snow and ice storms. The diagonal slots really help in corning in snow and soft ice. The studded tires out perform them on hard ice surfaces though. Strengths: Dry pavement handling is supper.
Better than most tires on Snow and Ice, if you drive resonably, and don't run tire presure over 30psi.
I have had the tires 2 years, and they are wearing evenly.Good looking tires. Weaknesses: They ride harder than some tires, but I supose most "H" rated tires are this way. Similar Products Used: Michellen X, also good, but I couldn't get my size, and my car requires "H" rated tires.Dunlops, fast wear, especially on edges; poor.Firestone, only half the tread used, and I had out of round trouble
