Review 1 of 7

Price Paid:  $160.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 90 mustang GT

Summary:
These tires were are worst "so called" performance tires I have ever owned! I wanted a balance between performance and tire wear, I got the good tire wear but Honestly, "These are the worst so called performance tires I have ever owned !!!". In the lightest rain these tires are scary and just plain dangerous! The cornering grip is unimpressive. They don't like to be pushed to the easy to reach limit, getting squeaky, and loose around corners. I took the car to the drag strip and couldn't "hook up".I lost a full 1+ second on my 1/4 mile time. I will replace these tires before they reach 8,000 miles.I've gotten better performance out of cheap all-season tires. "I Recommend This Tire To Know-one! -- this means you"

Strengths:
treadwear

Weaknesses:
rain, cornering grip, Traction, 1/4 mile time

Review 2 of 7

Price Paid:  $120.00

Summary:
A good value for the price. They strike a good compromise between performance and tread life. These aren't the stickiest tires around, but they last a long time for a high speed tire. Performance is pretty good and breakaway is progressive, so you know how hard you can push.

Wet weather performance is terrible. Lots of hydroplaning and slipping.

Strengths:
Good wear, Decent Price

Weaknesses:
Horrible wet weather performance

Review 4 of 7

Year / Model Reviewed:
 99 Ford Cobra Convertible

Summary:
These BFGoodrich's are the first I've owned and came as OEM from Ford.

I'm actually very surprised at the level of grip these tires generate, and have had no problems with them slipping at all. In the dry, they're great but leave a lot to be desired in a serious downpour. Since they're 245's they hydroplane severely at highway speeds.

I've heard from several other Cobra owners that these tires only last for around 10000 miles, but my car already has 5000 mostly highway and backroad miles and my tires look almost new!

Strengths:
Excellent grip, good wear

Weaknesses:
Wet weather traction/hydroplaning

Similar Products Used:
Goodyear, Yokohama

Year / Model Reviewed:
 98 Nissan Sentra SE

Summary:
Great tire. Wears pretty slow. takes a beating in the turns.
Doesnt squell much at all and grips hard. I used these temporaily
up front for drag racing on my Sentra SE-R and they got me 2.20
60 fts with an open diff.

Strengths:
Grip hard even in wet weather, wear pretty slow for a ZR tire
Very predictable and take alot to get them to slide in turns

Weaknesses:
very satisfied with this tire.
