Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $1450.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 98 GSR

Summary:
Despite the high cost these are a great kit. I bought mine 2 years ago, and at the time there werent comparable less expensive options. These days I might go a different route, but only to save a few bucks. These are Porsche BoxsterS Rear brake kits with a mounting adapter to make them fit the honda applications. Fantastic stopping power.

Strengths:
VERY good stopping power. Great fitment. Giant rotor to leave your friends drooling with envy.Provides balance to all that power you're trying to make.

Weaknesses:
Pads are expensive, but all good pads are expensive. Kit is expensive, but worth every penny. Anyone who says otherwise hasnt properly installed theirs.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $1580.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1997/Integra GSR

Summary:
AEM's product is not quality tested and checked on actual vehicles, or so it seems. I would avoid purchasing them because of the headaches they give customers over the phone when trying to work out technical details of modification requirements.

Avoid these big brake systems with the 4 piston caliper! The big brake (rotor only) works fine. A friend of mine has them installed on a 1998 GSR (using stock calipers) with no problem. His wheels are CP-035 as well, but are in 16x7 size.

Strengths:
Nice looks

Weaknesses:
They don't fit the application as indicated by the manufacturer! Ordered front big brake kit with 4 piston calipers for the model indicated and could not get 17x7 CP-035's to fit over them! This despite AEM's insistence that they work with these wheels (offset was within their recommended range).
