Review 1 of 9

Price Paid:  $254.00 from auto parts store

Year / Model Reviewed:
2005 Dodge Ram 1500

Summary:
Very impressed with the product. I actually bought the Super Turbo Kit for the price mentioned earlier. Sounds great. Nice deep growl on start up, and when you are in the throttle. Not annoying like what I've heard from the popular Flowmaster. Don't get me wrong, Flowmaster Exhausts are great but not what I was looking for. If you want a nice deep sound but not loud enough to get tickets, take a look at this kit.

Strengths:
Not too loud, yet it still sounds great. Not expensive either.

Weaknesses:
none so far

Review 2 of 9

Price Paid:  $120.00 from Summit Racing Equipm

Year / Model Reviewed:
 '98 Jeep Cherokee

Summary:
This is my 2nd Dynomax system, the 1st was on an '88 S-10. I've had 2 Flowmaster systems since, and was unhappy with both. The Force II system I put on my '95 Chevy 4X4 hit the bottom of the cab when in reverse, and the American Thunder system on my '96 Mustand GT also had fitiment problems, and rusted out at the welds. So...I went back to Dynomax, and am extremely pleased. The stainless steel tip looks high quality, and it makes the Jeep sound pretty tough. I would definetely recommend it.

Strengths:
Price. Looks. Sound.

Weaknesses:
It was easier to have it installed, rather than doing it myself

Review 3 of 9

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1998 Civic

Summary:
After doing quite a bit of research on the web about different exhausts, I had narrowed it down to 2. The spex N1 and the dynomax. My friend has the apex and it has a nice growl from the outside. But, on the inside its almost unbearable. So i went with the dynomax and I'm very pleased. It has the perfect, deep, throaty tone. Not to ricey like the apex. Notice i put 0 on the price, that's because it was my birthday present :)

Strengths:
sound quality intimidating

Weaknesses:
none, yet

Review 4 of 9

Price Paid:  $180.00 from Jegs

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1979 Pontiac

Summary:
Put the 2.25 inch super turbo system on my 1979 403 T/A to replace the rusted out (flowmasters?) mufflers that were on the car and literally falling apart. The fit was good and the install was easy to complete in my garage. These mufflers are not too loud while still delivering a deep smooth sound when cruising around town. I sometimes turn off my radio just to listen to the engine. I can't wait to put some headers on this engine and hear what it sounds like. Can't say anything about performance increases as I still have the cat and the factory exhaust manifolds upstream. Overall a good deal (especially because I got a $25 mail in rebate after my purchase). Good system.

Strengths:
Good mellow sound at the perfect level. Can be installed in an evening with basic tools.

Weaknesses:
No real complaints other than the goofy looking tips. No big deal. Also, you have to re-use the stock Y pipe in the installation. Just telling you guys, it is a y-pipe-back system.

Price Paid:  $300.00 from Kilgore Napa

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1997 Ford

Summary:
This exaust is awsome, I love the sound.

Strengths:
Cheaper, more unique sound, easy to put on and a great web page that allows you to listen to the exaust system you want.

Weaknesses:
not a wide variety of mufflers, but the Super Turbo and Ultra Flo are awesome

Similar Products Used:
stock exaust
