Review 2 of 5

Price Paid:  $280.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 Kicker Solo-Baric 02S12L54

Summary:
I bought 2 of these off of ebay for $280 for both of them. I have them on a Rockford Fosgate Punch 601s(770 watts rms) and I gotta tell you...these things hit hard. For the price that I got off of ebay, I love the value of the subs. These things could probably be heard from 2 blocks away. If you want something that hits hard and clean, the Kicker Solo-Baric L5 12" are the way to go. They beat out my friends JLw6v2's and he was running the same amp as me.

Strengths:
Hard, Clean BASS A bargain if u get it off of ebay Doesn't need to be pushed to the max to shake the neighborhood. Look unique with the square shape.

Weaknesses:
None

Similar Products Used:
Kicker Comp VR 12", Alpine Type-R, visonik(eww)

Review 3 of 5

Price Paid:  $150.00 from etronics.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2 - S12L5

Summary:
These subs are killer. They are the loudest 12" subs I have ever heard. They are even louder than a lot of 15" subs. I have a JBL bp1200.1 on 2 12" solo-barics and they are louder than my friend's system, who has 3 - 15" Punch He2 and a Punch 1000.1.

Strengths:
Hits very low. Bass is very loud and clean. Huge xmax. Built like a tank.

Weaknesses:
Needs a lot of power. Will have to put dynamat or your car will sound like it is falling apart.

Similar Products Used:
Kicker(L5 @ CompVR), Orion XTRPro, Punch He2, Polk EXII(best beginner sub), Memphis Studio, Planet Audio

Review 4 of 5

Price Paid:  $150.00 from www.carstereotime.co

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002 Kicker Solobaric L5

Summary:
These are some of the best subs on this earth!! I love them. They give you heart stopping bass at almost all volume levels! Even when not given a lot of power, they still hit hard. I got an 800watt Power Acoustik amp powering two of 12'' L5's and it sounds great.

Strengths:
Great sounding and perfect for people who want rumbling bass.

Weaknesses:
Definately none

Similar Products Used:
Crossfire, Kenwood, Kicker all the way!!!

Review 5 of 5

Price Paid:  $0.00 from CBR Stereo

Year / Model Reviewed:
 02

Summary:
These subs are great. They will slam when given the power. My Ultimate Sound Digitalis DD1-1200 amp powers them very well. These subs will handle much more than their rated power. I have about 700 watts RMS going to each one, and they barely are moving. They are well made, and look good. They are just another great product from Kicker.

Strengths:
Well built. Can handle much more than their rated power. Great SPL, and SQ as well.

Weaknesses:
None.

Similar Products Used:
Polk, Kicker, and Audiobahn subs.
