Summary:
These subs hit hard. I have the hooked to a profile cl 1200 which pushes them to the max. They can handle a lot of power. They also sound good in a bandpass box wich I have them in.

Strengths:
Great looks, awesome power, sound great.

Weaknesses:
none

Similar Products Used:

Price Paid:  $100.00 from EBAY

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Audiobahn AW1251T

Summary:
I bought these subs a few months ago because i was upgrading from some 450 watt pioneer impp's. The pioneers were ok starter subs but they cant compare to these. Right now i have a 1200 watt SPL series 1 amp on these 2 subs and they pound. In the car it sound great. These subs can compete with the 12" Kicker Comp VR's. I know so because a friend from school has 2 kicker cvr's. I have no idea what these subs hit because i have not had it tested.

Strengths:
Well these subs are all around GREAT!!! They Kick a§§. But i need something better. I need to have the best system in town so im getting a 15" Kicker §olo Baric L7...

Weaknesses:
NONE!!! Audiobahn Rocks...Great Price

Review 3 of 19

Price Paid:  $50.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 AW1251T

Summary:
I love how clean these subs hit - it might be my amp, but they don't thump outside my truck as much as I expected, but the bass is low and clear. One note though - be sure to have a box built to the Audiobahn specs. I used a prefab bandpass for awhile and it was like you couldn't even hear them outside, and the distortion was terrible. I took the time to build a 1 cu. ft. for each sub, and the difference is amazing. It can be in my driveway and picture frames rattle in my house.

Strengths:
Excellent Clear, Deep Bass, good power handling

Weaknesses:
Don't do as well in a standard bandpass box. Be sure to use polyfill in a sealed box

Review 4 of 19

Price Paid:  $100.00 from friend

Year / Model Reviewed:
00 AW 1251

Summary:
I have used setups like RF HE2 10x2 and 12x2 setups with 1100 watts that didn't have the quality of sound that this little pair of 12's have... Rock on Audiobahn!!!

Strengths:
power handling and heat dissapation... low distortion(if you have the power to run them effectively)

Weaknesses:
a little punchy without glass or poly fill in the box to slow the return wave off the back of the box

Similar Products Used:
Rockford HE2 10's and 12's

Review 5 of 19

Price Paid:  $60.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002 Audiobahn AW1251X

Summary:
I have had let's see, about 6 or 7 of these subs in my lifetime. I have blown 4 of them already and needed to return them. At first I thought it was because of something I did, but I eventually found out from experts that Audiobahn's build quality is horrible. I've had the lead wire seprate from the cone at least 6 times already. I'm not sure why, but on a few occassions these would sound GREAT, but on most occassions they would sound mediocre. I had 3 of these in a 1.0 cubic foot each sealed box. Bass was punchy and not deep at all. Did not sound like 3 12's at all. Save your money and buy something else, these aren't worth it.

Strengths:
Cheap, decently loud I guess

Weaknesses:
Poorly built overrated power handling Doesn't hit lows well

Similar Products Used:
Adire Tempests A LOT BETTER Rockford Fosgate lower line with Jenson amp even sounded better
