Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $130.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 Audiobahn AW1008X

Summary:
Well im here writing a review over a year later, but man, I have 2 of these subs and its incredible what sound comes from these tens. The litterally compete with my friends 2 15 inch mtx thunder 8000's. quick tight bass response wich is great for any kind of music. I have 1600 watt Digital audio DA2200HC, which is manufactured by audiobahn. This is the audiobahn version of A2200HC. Awesome amplifier. First of all get the subs ported because you will get much deeper and lower bass response. So low it feels like my ears are bleeding. litterly the liscence plate is about to break off!!

Strengths:
tight bass and great response. doesnt have the paper or plasticky cone. fiber woven and huge rubber surround!

Weaknesses:
makes so many things rattle in your car. Im worried about ear damage.

Similar Products Used:
fosgate and mtx subs

Year / Model Reviewed:
 aw1008x

Summary:
I bought two of these subs and DAMN!!!!!!! they hit hard as hell. THese are just the best tens I have ever heard. I'm never switchin to any other company. Just make sure you get your box ported!!!I am running these subs on a crossfire bmf 1000d and trust me I can be heard from at least half a mile.

Strengths:
Built tough!! Takes as much power as you want to give it. This thing just kicks ass.

Weaknesses:
NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Price Paid:  $130.00 from cardiscountstereos.c

Summary:
I bought a pair of these subs, and im writing the review early, but i have great hopes for a complete audiobahn setup ive almost accomplished. I bought an audiobahn A3200E amplifier with a 1 farad capacitator also at the website i bought those subs. If i port the pair of subs, i should be good, as long i use the amplifier's 18db gain.

Strengths:
Built like a tank. Ready to bump!!

Weaknesses:
none

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $70.00 from UBid

Year / Model Reviewed:
 AW1008x

Summary:
This Baby Kicks butt. Really Loud. Got a Soundstream Reference 700sx running this baby and this sh-t kicks. The thing is, I''m only running ONE and I have two of these suckers. Nice Bass Baby. Lucky I don''t have two 700sx amps or I''ll be deaf already.. hehe..

Strengths:
Can handle the power that my amp kicks into it. My amp gets pretty hot and shuts down cause this baby being sucking some hard juice from this amp.. hehe..

Weaknesses:
Likes to suck up power. A lot of watts.. you know it''s 1000 rms..

Similar Products Used:
Had two JL w6. With one aw1008x.. just as loud, but no breath taking like the jl''s, but I''m sure that if I had two big amps, both of the aw1008x would be kicking some major butt..
