Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $275.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 merrillizer@fordsplash.com

Summary:
Highly recommended for people serious about creating a realistic soundstage in their automobile. Pure sound. Just great.

Strengths:
Crystal clear sound. Great imaging....I am using them for rear fill now. Realistic soundstage. Just awesome qaulity
and sound.

Weaknesses:
Price might throw newer buyers of car audio off......but a/d/s/ makes the finest products out there. They set the standard for sure.

Similar Products Used:
MB Quart, Soundstream

Review 2 of 4

Summary:
These are absolutely fantastic sounding speakers.

Having been "into" car audio since 1986 I have had or listened to countless numbers of speakers. These include Focal, Dynaudio, Quart, Boston Acoustics, Vifa, Polk, Peerless, Orion, and on and on... These are by far the nicest sounding speakers I have had yet.

The sound is even and the imaging stable with plenty of power handling for those days when you want the windows open.

Strengths:
Everything. Sound, components.....

Weaknesses:
nada

Similar Products Used:
everything.

Review 3 of 4

Year / Model Reviewed:
 90 Acura Legend

Summary:
I would recommend these speakers over any other 2 way i have used, including MB Quart, Boston Acoustics, Kenwood, Sony, Vifa, and Dynaudio. I continue to be amazed at the clarity and imaging they provide.
Please be sure to plan your installation as this is a fairly large speaker and in some installations depth and width could become an issue.

Strengths:
Sound quality is excellent

Weaknesses:
Larger basket size made mounting "interesting".

Similar Products Used:
everything.

Review 4 of 4

Summary:
These are excellent integrated speakers. I used them in the rear of my 99 VW Golf to replace the mediocre stock component speakers. The sound is much better because, among other things, there is no longer a tweeter right behind by ear. The bass coming out of these speakers is very good. Very littly distortion, even at loud listening levels. I highly recommend these speakers.

Strengths:
sound quality

Weaknesses:
none

Similar Products Used:
sony, eclipse
