2007 DUAL CAR GPS UNIT Summary:
It is a basic system.I bought it for my truck that has a DUAL 6.5" touch screen dvd,fm,am,cd & mp3 player radio to give it NAVAGATION ALSO.I rate it as a fair deal because of the price I paid for it.If you have a Dual radio that can use it and can get it cheep enough its an OK add on. Strengths:
PAID $249.00 ON EBAY.10Mb of the 20Mb hard drive is for MP3 to be down loaded to it. Weaknesses:
Can't use the touch screen to operate from radio! Duh. Must use a hand held remote. I bought it in MAY of 2007,after installation I found out that the installed maps are 2005.Still wating for DUAL to notify me that updated maps are availible.Only way maps can be updated is with another computer through a router through a CAT5 cable.Must have a monitor or a radio that is deadicated to this unit,it does not have a screen of it own. Similar Products Used:
TOM TOM, kenwood in dash nav radio.
