Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $129.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Summary:
This is a very good analog eq. Analog is not as good as digital, but for the price...who can complain. It has two inputs, allowing you to connect a second source, and swith between it and your radio. This means that I didn''t have to have an independent source switch for my clarion vcr.

Strengths:
Good looks, nice price; six volt output!

Weaknesses:
The 1/2 din size forced me to create a custom spacer to fill the full din opening. This increased installation time. Also, the pot that controls the volume adds pink noise while it is being adjusted. This is typical in analog eq''s. To avoid this static sound, I have to leave the volume up on the eq and adjust the volume on my radio. However, it can''t be avoided on my vcr. However, these things are minor and I really like the performance and look of this unit!

Review 3 of 3

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Clarion EQS750

Summary:
Not at all bad for an entry level EQ.

Strengths:
Nice 6v output & good amount of features in a small chassis. Do not pay list for this unit because at $250 MSRP there are higher quality products

Weaknesses:
High noise floor, adds a little distortion at higher volumes.
