from Amigo Audio Year / Model Reviewed: 1997 Camaro Summary: I had an 85 S-10. It was the bumpiest ride I've ever had. It came with an old OLD Clarion cd player. This thing was so beat up, it skipped 24/7, and the face wouldn't latch sometimes. After months of hassle, I contacted my local audio shop and they recommended the VBD500. It was affordable and they had done numerous installs with this unit and never had one complaint. So I thought I'd give it a whirl. What the heck! Sadly, when I sold my truck, the cd player went with it. I haven't been able to locate one of these units for quite some time. I went with an Alpine for my new car and it skips on all of my burned cds, skips on cds w/ barely a fingerprint on them. Its amazing how a name can be worth so much while the quality isn't. I want my Lanzar back :( Strengths: Never skipped once
Played all of my burned cds flawlessly
Great FM reception
Very reliable
Easy installation Weaknesses: Plain looking face
