Summary:
I ordered my amp online.. I had done some prior research, decided this was the one to run with. I got my amp a week later, decided on a head unit.. (alpine 9833) after about 3 more weeks, finally hooked the amp up to 2 12' alumapro subs. Strange thing about it is, when I tested the ohms on my speakers.. 1 is rated @ 4ohms, and the other is rated @ 8ohms.. Go figure? Even though I'm losing mad power cause the ohms aren't balanced.. This is one of the best I've heard in a long while.. My last system was 4 10' earthquakes on a pyramid 1200.. Nothing close to the sound I have now.

Strengths:
doesn't back down.. Not even near your peak wattage! true, pure, clean 700 watts. The more power you add, the deeper the bass pours out. Mine hasn't gotten hot yet, not even after pushing it near peak levels for about 30 minutes.

Weaknesses:
None as of to date.

Similar Products Used:
Nothing I've had sounded similar to the equiptment I'm using now.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
i had a fosgat power 800 hooked up to two fosgate dvcs and thought it was loud.i sold that amp, bought the kickerdx700 and it ripped the surround off one of em in about 3 days. so i turned it down about 3/4 of the way and it blew the other surround right off in about another week. the thing i dont get is that i had the fosgate turned all the way up and it never made my subs move like the kicker did. now i hooked up a jlw7 to it and i cant even find words to ecplain how loud this thing is

Strengths:
powerful doesnt get hot at all no matter how long you pound it

Weaknesses:
the little crossover chip, i got mine set at 80 its real easy to break one of the legs off the chip

Similar Products Used:
fosgat 800-good amp, didnt drain my car as much as the kicker, but you gotta pay to play
