Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001 / A1300HCX

Summary:
Audiobahn has suprised many of the newer and older car audio enthusiasts out there. They have become one of the most well known car audio companies in the world, selling to over twenty different countries! This amp is slightly overrated by it power, but will produce more than enough power to win competitions. I had one of these powering two Audiobahn ALUM12X woofers, ran at 1.5 ohm, in a broke down, beater of a car Dodge Neon. We took 2nd place, we were first up in our class witch dissapointed many other competitors because we broke the world record in our division, on the last day of competition someone else came up with a system that was worth well over 15 thousand dollars, beat us by 2Db. It's okay though we had our one day of fame! Oh by the way, we hit 143.4 in a sealed box with 1.25 cubic ft. per woofer. Later I built a ported box and gained well over 7 Db., haven't had metered on the same meter though, so not exactly sure of the gain.

Strengths:
Great looks, awesome cooling and protection systems, Price is very right... I used to sell them for $315 installed, Good, clean power.

Weaknesses:
I never found any, but then I had an upgraded alternator and two batteries when I got it.

Similar Products Used:
Ma audio, Mobile authority, visonik, dr. crankenstien, jl audio, rockford fosgate, jbl, kenwood, ppi, xtant, power amper, list goes on.....

Review 4 of 5

Price Paid:  $315.00 from e-bay ---scala

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Summary:
Great Subwoofer amp. This is a monster amp with great SQ. I have two rockford HX2 Punch 12" and they pound it real hard.

Strengths:
for 315 with shipping you can''''t find a better Amp. I have them wired at 1 ohm''''s with two HX2 Punch DVC. They will never go hot or underclipp the subs. Very shiny and has nice blue lights for the UV meter. You can customize the bass with the subsonic bass frequency and set the low pass and also set the bass boost with frequency. It has alot of features for competetion use. Also goes with a Bass Control Knob which come in useful and also has a blue light on it so you can see it in the dark.

Weaknesses:
Big Amp and Drains alot of current but you get clean sound because of it. You will need 1 1/2 farat or a high output alternator will correct this.

Price Paid:  $300.00 from e-bay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 audiobahn A1300HCX

Summary:
Well.... Lemme tell u. I used to have a system in my car that didnt satisfy my needs. I went online and asked around from numerous people what products they would refer me to. I was told my many that the Audiobahn products are one of the best buys for the money. When i installed this amp I was "blown" away. I used 2 700 watt audiobahn subs and this amp definitely gave more than enough power to them at only 20% gain. Everything about this amp is awesome. For starters, it pushes out a 1200 watts at 1 ohm. It can handle basically anything u throw at it. Its looks are amazing. An eye catcher if u ask me. Anyone who sees this amp is amazed by not only the power it produces but the way it looks. Its features makes using this amp easy. Has a built in crossover, bass boost knob (very useful), gain control, FREQ control, sonic sound control, lpf/full mode, 2 fans as well as heat sinks to keep it cool and boy does it stay cool, and much more. Referring to its looks, it has a cool analogue meter that lets u know the dB ranges. it also lights up so u can see the interior workings plus 2 windows to look inside not to forget the sleek gold/chrome finish that makes it remarkably appealing. I went by my friends house. He has 2 15 inch fosgates running off an older model Zeus amp. When he heard my system he was very upset. He couldn''t believe the sound quality that it put out not to mention the bass vibration. He also was pissed that he spent so much more for his setup and that it sounded ohh so much better, louder, and nicer........ No joke... to anyone thats looking for a good amp at a good price get the a1300hcx you wont be disappointed and thats for dam sure. I suggest purchasing it now before the name gets well known and prices start climbing. Good luck (hoping u wont go deaf)

Strengths:
Power, Power, and more Power. U cant overhand this amp cause it feeds more than enough clean, undistorted bass. Its looks are are designed to appeal to everyone and will definitely get positive comments. If u pass up on this amp u will for sure regret it. Forget what anyone tells u. Get it!

Weaknesses:
Weakness would be on your part not to get this amp. Aside form that...... This amp has no weakness and thats for dam sure.

Similar Products Used:
Similar? Uhhh. Nope. Its a unique looking amp that is only known to be the best by Audiobahn users. Cannot be matched.
