Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Mobile Audio Design

Year / Model Reviewed:
 AG1000

Summary:
I have THE 2 prototypes of these amps....before they were put into the market.
I want luckily sponsored by Zapco thru Mobile Audio Design, here in Japan.
I'm never ever going to let these go, no matter how much folks are willing to pay!

Strengths:
With these 2 amps, I blew out 8 Kicker Competition 12's ! Then changed to the 2 good old 18" Volcano subs. Not much now but I hit 156 dB's with my '89Civic Hatback SiR.
Never had any problem and I still use them along with the AG 360.

Weaknesses:
Like others mentioned, its very long ( but very intimidating ). Right now I drive a Daihatsu Mira, a 660cc Turbo "mini-car" and the amp uses pretty much the whole width of the car.Other than that, I see no other weaknesses.

Similar Products Used:
AG360 to run my 6.5" coaxials for rear and 10cm separates up front.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $750.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 AG1000 in black

Summary:
I used this amplifier for roughly 3 years and in that time all i gave the amp was abouse! What i got in return was bags of power with amazing sound quality. Not once did it overheat, clip, distort or begin to sound muffled! in a nutshell this amp is PERFECT!

Strengths:
Sound quality, Reliability, Does not need a stiff power supply to deliver power.

Weaknesses:
They are very long and can be a bit of a nightmare to fit. Can be a bit expensive!

Similar Products Used:
DLS a3, Audiobahn 2300 (no comparison to the Zapco)
