Summary:
Between you and me. Only Clifford dealers are suppose to sell the alarm and it should be installed by ONLY a Clifford dealer or else the alarm warranty is voided. But I managed to get my hand on this one for $180 and $100 for install ($280). I went to 3-4 Clifford dealers and they wanted around $435-$520 for it installed. A little to high for a car alarm with basic features. Add-ons are extra and do cost alot also. If you want a Clifford, they came out with the Concept 100, 200, 400 and so on. I would look for those. More reliable remote control with them and glass sensor offered w/ long range remote. I would recommend an Intelliguard IQ though. That's if you have the money.

Strengths:
Plainveiw switch to valet. You can basically program the whole alarm system through the remote. Great reputation. Alot of upgrade add-ons options. Very loud siren and alot of programmable feature.

Weaknesses:
The remote is too fragile. Breaks easily. Around $40-$50 to replace it. Short distance with the remote. Takes time to learn the alarm, but it's great when you get the hang of it. Very expensive for install and alarm $400-$500. Only basic features too.

Similar Products Used:
Viper (forgot what model, sorries). And Crime guard 745i. I would personally choose the Crime guard. WWW.Crutchfield.com sells it for around $200. You can definitely get it cheaper somewhere else, but Crutchfield offers alot of technical advice (very helpful), installation sheets (not as helpful), and wire harness (mostly snap on and little wire splices through factory- which makes your job alot easier-very very helpful). Crime guard adds a glass sensor and microwave sensor. Way cheaper also.
