Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $30.00 from Street

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1988 Ford Festiva

Summary:
I have a 1988 Ford Festiva :) Nice little cars. I got the Code Alarm Sure Start Lx On Ebay for 12.00 w/ out remote or harnesses. I installed it in my car. Here is what I think about it.

Strengths:
Great Features, Example Keyless entry, Windows, Lighted entry ect.. Loud alarm. Great sensitivity

Weaknesses:
Relay's went bad on 2 of them so I had to use secondary relay's from a Viper alarm system to take some of the strain off ESPECIALLY on the negative alarm output.. Vibaration from loud car audio systems set it off.

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $325.00

Summary:
I rencently have been using the Code Alarm LXi and found to like and dislike. For the most part it has been a very good alarm system and a nice security. It's my firat alarm/remote start so I don't have much to compare it too. It seems to be nicer than the ones my friends use!!

Strengths:
Loud alarm, accurate impact sensor, good distance for starting, silent mode to arm/disarm, brake will disable the car if not turned on by key when started, overall very good performance

Weaknesses:
Alarm will chirp if impact sensor is off and loud truck/vehicle is driving by, cause by the vibration in the ground, hard to determine if car starts when not visible

None
