Review 1 of 29

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2007 Kia Sorrento

Summary:
I only test drove the Sorrento LX last night. WOW!

Strengths:
Touch the gas and look out - this goes really fast!! Also, the pickup on it is better than my Infiniti QX4 - no kidding!

Weaknesses:
Interior still felt a little like a low priced car, but it's nice. I test drove the deluxe model with heated seats, CD player, etc.

Similar Products Used:
None.

Review 3 of 29

Price Paid:  $26000.00 from Kia of Des Moines

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Sorrento

Summary:
This suv is the biggest piece of crap ever. It had only 2k on it when we started having problems. The lights in the shifter went out. Then it sprung a leak of engine coolant. Next it started to shift funny, we had it into the dealership several times before they ever resolved that issue. They put us in a filthy, smokey, sorrento as a rental. It was so bad, I wouldnt put my kid in it. Then it starts stalling just out of nowhere. We took it to the dealership several times, and of course when they get the car, they cant (duplicate the problem). In other words your stuck with it, cause we cant figure it out. I hope it doesnt stall on my wife when she is on the interstate. They had to replace the seats because they were wearing out ,it didnt have but 9,000 miles on it. It also screams like a pig when you start it and drive it. Could not duplicate that problem either. I have that on video several times. It is pretty bad when you have had a car less than a year, and have had so many problems, and need to take the time to video them. We have been to the dealership at least 10 times for problems. I know im forgetting other issues but it is my wifes car and she has all the paperwork. The kia customer service is terrible. It is like talking to a robot. Dont ever buy a kia

Strengths:
none

Weaknesses:
cheap, poor customer service

Review 5 of 29

Price Paid:  $24500.00 from Childress Kia

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Sorento

Summary:
I think it is a great vehicle. Childress dealership is topnotch. I have owned other Kia models and they never shifted any blame on the customer. They just fixed it. I think most people complaints are rooted with the dealership. The one I go to makes no excuses. They honor all warrantied items and are just terrific. I DON'T WORK FOR THEM! This is my candid and impartial opinion. Mark

Strengths:
Great SUV with ;ots of features.

Weaknesses:
Gas mileage could be better.....
