Review 1 of 301

Price Paid:  $15000.00 from Credit Union

Year / Model Reviewed:
2008 2.0 S

Summary:
Wow! I am so glad I chose this car. I have had it for less than a week and sometimes I just get in it and ride. The ride is smooth, and the performance is great. I would definitey recommend the bluetooth feature. I also love the plug to listen to my Ipod. I can ride and listen to music endlessly. I have mentioned the gas mileage - it superb! I have long daily commutes to work, and the Sentra makes it less stressful.

Strengths:
Great performance, roomy, nice features at an econonical price, great gas.

Weaknesses:
None

Review 2 of 301

Price Paid:  $0.00 from rental

Year / Model Reviewed:
2008 nissan sentra 2.0

Summary:
I don't like driving small cars, but the sentra surprised me. The seating positions, the feet not jammed up by the wheelwell, and the roof height were just right. Most small car are geared to keep the engine revs up to make power on the highway, but notso with this engine, which is why I love it. At 65 mph with 3 adults and the A/C on, the tach read just under 2000rpm. The CVT transmission seems to be a no brainer in this car. Whenever I ride or drive a car I'm mindful of NVH. The sentra has low wind even at high speeds, normal conversation was possible. Road noise was very good, but could be better over exposed agrigate. I hate tire and road noise, but I understand that all cars can't be lexuses. The sentra might be quieter than the altima though.

Strengths:
Roomy small car, front and backseats. A very capable little cruisemobile. Trunk space is big enough. Can't relate on reliability, but this car is a keeper.

Weaknesses:
The dreaded orange glow instrument lights-hate,hate,hate.Iknow that small cars need to save weight, but a little added insulation in the firewall for nominal engine noise upon aceleration would be great. I know-nitpicky stuff.

Review 3 of 301

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Longwood, Florida

Year / Model Reviewed:
2008 Sentra 2.0 automatic

Summary:
I bought the car since I was having too many problems with my 2006 Corolla (What a lemon). I wanted to buy a Altima but I didn't trust that keyless gimmick Nissan has. Throughout the review I have tried to be objective since I like Nissan. It's an ok car if you can get a good deal, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Strengths:
I got a good APR and a good trade in value from the dealer. You get more standard options. Huge glove dept & trunk. Modern styling. Radio is sharp and has many useless gimmicks. Controls on steering wheel. The car uses a key instead of a keyless remote. It is very easy to change your own oil since the filter and drain plugs are conveniently located.

Weaknesses:
DON'T BE FOOLED by the sticker-The gas mileage is horrible for a 4 cylinder! I am very disappointed with the MPG. I went from a 1.8 Corolla to a 2.0 Sentra and there's a huge difference in gas mileage. The car is a tank; either very heavy or the suspension is soft. Go very slow over a speed bump (verry soft suspension). The acceleration is slow. The gimmicky transmission feels like its being run by rubberbands. The ride feels low. You cannot open the trunk without the alarm going on if you don't disengage the door locks. You cannot upgrade the radio to Nissan factory XM radio (although the salesman said it would be no problem). The radio sounds muffled and not true. I suspect that the factory installed speakers are junk. I will replace should I decide to keep the car. The tire air pressure warning light stays on no matter what. A recall notice should be sent on that. I will trade this car in when its out of factory warranty.

Review 4 of 301

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Asheboro Nissan

Year / Model Reviewed:
2007 Sentra

Summary:
I am on my fourth Sentra now. Unfortunately, my first one was totaled in a head on collison. My dad swears the front wheel drive saved my life. My family out grew the second one (it was only two door), and I just traded in my third one with over 180,000 miles. I love my 2007 Sentra. I test drove a Dodge Caliber and then went to drive a 2007 Sentra. Hands down the Sentra out drove the Caliber.

Strengths:
Awesome gas mileage. 30 MPG. Those are country miles too.

Weaknesses:
Only one. The tire pressure light comes on every time the temperature falls so many degrees.
