Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1997 200sx

Summary:
I would rather have my stock 15's then my 215/40R16 euro t/a's. Definatly not a performance tire. Horrible on wet surfaces. Whenever I hit bumbs my car goes everywhere. Grip is horrible. Tread pattern horrible. Way to stiff.

Strengths:
looks i guess

Weaknesses:
everything about there performance

Toyo proxes T1-S are the best tires i've ever used. Euro T/A don't stand a chance against these tires

Review 3 of 13

Price Paid:  $55.00 from Sams Club

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Summary:
Don't buy these tires! These are going to be the next fiasco in tire troubles, the only way BF Goodrich gets away with such a piece of $#!+ tire is that they are built for low center of gravtiy vehicles! Mine blew out going 75 mph and I almost rolled my VR6- almost complete tread separation (both sidewalls) from the sidewalls with only 15k on them!

Strengths:
They are cheap!

Weaknesses:
Deadly tread separation from side walls, cheap construction techniques, low quality rubber (craks and separates at sidewalls from heat) produced for market consumption with little testing and research!

Review 4 of 13

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 BFG Euro TA

Summary:
Honestly, I don''t know how people can rate this product so high as a PERFORMANCE tire. I am guessing it is because there is no real basis for comparison. Your money is definitely better spent elsewhere if you want decent handling/grip. They do come in virtually every size, as someone already said.

Strengths:
Myriad of sizes. Look nice.

Weaknesses:
Compound way too hard, tread pattern is terrible. Little feedback and no warning when it breaks away near the limit. Limit is not nearly as far as higher priced tires

Nitto NT450 - Slightly better Dunlop SP8000 - leaps and bounds above

Review 5 of 13

Price Paid:  $350.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1992 Mazda Protege''

Summary:
I love these tires. Great tire for anyone who loves mixing performance and everyday driving. The reinforced sidewall is a plus. One day I ran over a nail which caused my my front left tire to go flat. All I felt was a little shift to one side while driving. I had the nail removed and the tire still function as good as new- now as a rear tire. Great tire for anyone on a budget who wants a 215/40-16 tire, but at the same time wants a little tread life for the dollar.

Strengths:
Affordable, looks good, good dry weather traction, reinforced sidewall, long tread-life

Weaknesses:
Noisy, roughride, hydroplanes slightly when road is wet

Similar Products Used:
195/50-15 goodyear
