Outperforms my fosgate 301x by double when bridged. The fosgate is a 900watt amp.

Strength:

Its colored, shiny, Says it puts out 400w

Weakness:

I used a 45w Rockford once that put out more bass tom my 10" rockfords than it. 400w's? HA! My deck can probably put out more. The $100 I paid was too much. Oh yeah, dont ever try to use all four channels, it sounded better powering one 10" off two channels(bridged) than it did powering 2 10" off all four channels.

Anybody wanna buy an amp for $100? Too bad I already sold it. My 160a2 is in the mail.

Strength:

4-channel 400 watt amp. HP and LP filters. Rugged and strong designed. Great for pushing your front and rear speakers. It's claimed of being capable of putting out 600 watts bridged (300w x 2). I don't know for sure, but alot of places says that. I never tried it to push a subwoofer, but it's nice to know that the power is there if I ever need it. For now it's just for my front and rear speakers.

Weakness:

The edges were designed so that you have to leave them off if you weren't hiding the wiring. Seems very hollow inside for an amp.

I paid $100 New!!! It runs about $175 elsewhere, but I got a great deal for it. I remember Crutchfield selling it a couple of months ago for $249, but maybe the price dropped. It's a good amp for a beginner. Very flexible to basically do whatever you want it to do. And for the price it's not bad. Has easy to follow instructions. I would recommend it for beginners.

Orion XTR400.4 (4-channel 400watts). Comparing the 2 is no competition. But they are both 4 channels 400 watts. Orion is by far the better amp, but it's about twice the price of the Jensen.

A regular ol person

Strength:

wonderful and stylish paperweight. Sleek design for keeping the wind from blowing the papers off of your desk

Weakness:

like i said, a wonderful paperweight. i cannot think of anything better to use as a paperweight. i guess it is a little bit expensive for something you just use on your desk to keep your papers anchored. no, i wouldn't spend the money for this paperweight

no, i can't recommend people spend that much for a paperweight. it does perform very well though. i'm going to have to give it a 2 star for value and 4 stars overall due to its wonderful ability to keep papers anchored and its sleek stylish design.

Strength:

Bridgeable 150 watts x 2. Makes a good bass amp, as I use this amp to power two 10 inch Rockford Fosgate subs.

Weakness:

This amp is kind of "boomy" without a good separate equalizer

This unit retails for around $175, but I've seen it on sale for less than $150. A good starter amp for a beginner system: It's easy to hook up and operate, with easy to read instructions.
