from Deacon Dodge Year / Model Reviewed: 2004 SXT Summary: With the neon you should really know what you're buying before you go in. Especially with the low line SXT. It's not a race car, it's not a van, it's not a truck, it's basic, economical, inexpensive transportation. I've put 41,000 miles on mine and have had no problems. It needs a brake job, but that's not bad with the mileage I've put on it, and I'll be happy to have it done. It's not fast, it's not roomy, but it is safe for its size. An expidition t-boned me on the driver door, and I had a sore neck and that's it. My daughter was in the opposite back seat in a safety seat, and was completely unhurt. Worth the money if you just want a basic car, but know what you're buying. Strengths: Safe, dependable, affordable transportation. Weaknesses: Not fast or fun, but it was never designed to be.
