$25000.00 Year / Model Reviewed: 2001 Integra Type R Summary: The Type R version of the Integra is absolutely amazing. Honda''s main goal was to make a car that could be taken off the lot and driven straight to the track. They did the job well, handling, braking, acceleration, I''ve never been in a more well rounded car. And well rounded is the perfect way to describe the Type R''s performance characteristics. It''s not the fastest car in a straight line, it''s not going to pull more lateral G''s than every car out there, but the driving experience is simply exhilirating. This car is NOT simply a rebadged Integra with a bigger motor, too many improvements to list here... Strengths: Excellent handling, braking, acceleration, sounds of the engine are amazing. The aftermarket support for this platform is enormous. Touted as the best handling FWD car produced by many. Weaknesses: Might be a little to loud or bumpy for some, but if these things bother you, you shouldn''t be driving a Type R. Similar Products Used: Nothing comes close.
