from Orr Auto Year / Model Reviewed: 2004 Cadillac SLS Northstar Summary: This is a very fine automobile. Floats down the road; fast, too! I cannot find the word, "Cadillac" anywhere on the outside of the car which is strange. It just has the insignia on the back and Northstar in small letters. It does Not vibrate at 60 mph; rides great. This came with the Symmetry tires. It's about as perfect a car as I could hope to own. Strengths: I like the sound system, the heated seats, the "beep" when something's behind you when you're backing, the fast pick-up, the smooth as silk ride, the gas mileage and the lumbar "pillow." At 18mpg in town it's a good value for the luxurious ride. I like the way the seatbelts pull out at shoulder level instead of up nearer the ceiling. It is such a pleasure to drive. Weaknesses: I do not care for the way you have to install your CD's in a magazine between the front seats. I almost need a magnifying glass to get the job done. It takes some practice to switch from radio to the CD's; I've not mastered that chore yet! Plus, I couldn't find it in the drivers' manual.
You are supposed to add a quart of oil every thousand miles, too. Or, you have to. There is a blockage of your view on each end of the windshield which could pose a problem. The horn needs quite a firm push to activate. There is a slight hesitation on the a/c on the fan speeds.
I cannot get the windows to go down just halfway. Similar Products Used: Lexus ES300; Mercedes; BMW 325i
