Venom 400 Control Module

Summary:
Sets TPS to 75% at about 35% and increases progressively from there according to my laptop. Adds an offset voltage to your TPS so even though your actual throttle is at 35% your car is believing harder acceleration (your true throttle is not effected air in remains the same/ fuel amount increases). This is not a bad way to gain some lost hp due to the terrible ecofriendly factory settings.

Strengths:
Sooo easy. And it works good. A great way to get some fast hp without a lot of work. V6 and V8 only. V4s are already maxed out these days, it seems.

Weaknesses:
Get a fuel computer if you are serious and want control of the settings. It is a ton more hassle though. The venom will definetly not be as effective.

Summary:
AWESOME product that DEFINITELY makes a HUGE difference from off idle to full throttle. I also installed a Next Level Performance Tri-Phase IAT module. With both of these units working together (Tri-phase hooks up across the sensor lead of the IAT which still functions and remains installed) and the Venom 400 interfaces with MAF and TPS, the combination of the 2 units is unbeatable! Only a Supercharger and/or a turbo will beat these! Feels like additional; 25+ HP or more. TQ is also increased all over! DID lose 2-3 mpg, but WHO CARES? The power and the fun-factor is well worth the cost and mileage loss for sure!! I am STILL going to add my Jackson Racing Street Supercharger System shortly!

Strengths:
Noticeable HP and TQ increase; does exactly what Venom says it should do! I do not believe that this unit only fools car's ECM into giving full-throttle response. Fells like it does more!

Weaknesses:
Slight loss of fuel economy; well-worth it!

Similar Products Used:
Tri-Phase IAT module. Other electronic tweaks. They ALL do work well together. WILL be adding a Supercharger as well!

Summary:
As far as budget is concerned, it is worth the bang for the buck to me. You could also dump 4 grand into a car for a supercharger that you may lose in a wreck tomorrow....atleast you have a chance in removing a chip to sale on eBay. Anywho, I gained alot of power from this chip in my V6.

Strengths:
Bang for buck, power in automatic vehicles.

Weaknesses:
Maybe 2-3 miles lost per gallon.

WeaponR intake, Flowmaster exhaust, I used to have a jet chip....doesn't compare to the Venom 400.

Summary:
I bought the module based on the expectation that my VR4 would gain up to 25%hp. I had the Venom 400 professionally installed, and with much anticipation and excitement I took it for a test. Perhaps I gained 1 or 2hp, but definitely not enough to notice any difference. The performance expectations they created are extremely misleading, and I do not recommend this module to anyone.

Strengths:
Thanks to the skilled professional I had install the module, it is at least a visually acceptable addition (although non-functional) to my engine bay.

Weaknesses:
No noticeable hp, tq, or acceleration gains.

Summary:
The Venom 400 is a great buy. The price was not that expensive for the amount of horse power I got from it, compared that to products like cold air intake. People buy those for about $200 and it give about 5 horse power if that, think about that. This gave my vehicle a boost of power needed for the mid to top end. Who ever does not think this product helps they are crazy. The Venom 400 is the best performance module money can buy, right now.

Strengths:
Mid to Top end power gain is great! Easy to install. The price is not horrible.

Nothing Yet!
