1996 Summary:
This is a great sounding amplifier. Very sweet and smooth, but more laid back. Soundstage and imaging is the most accurate out of all the car amplifiers I have listened to. It is not a powerful sounding amp, but can reproduce music accurately. It is stable to 1/4ohm load - can even short the speaker terminal for 1 minute with full audio signal - and will not cut out - incredible.
Have two of these running Boston Acoustic Rally component speakers and two 12" Rockford Fosgate subwoofers - using Carver crossover. Strengths:
Sound quality. Stable to 1/4ohm. Can accept balance or unbalance inputs. Weaknesses:
The don't make them anymore :-(
I wish Adcom will reproduce these amplifiers. Similar Products Used:
