Review 1 of 6

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Chris Norris

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 Power 1500bd

Summary:
This amp is bad as hell has tons of power and you can get them for cheap now i was runnin 2 flame Qs off of this for a while but it blew those then i had 2 mofos and they sucked it up now i have 2 Power HX2s on this and it drive them just right the only bad thing about this amp is once it starts to clip it sounds crappy so just watch out how much you ask from it because it will give it to you but you may not be happy with the result it also gets really hot when it runs just make sure that there is air flow under it and you will be okay and on last thing this amp is stable down to 1ohm but it gets very hot and draws lots of power i blew a 250amp fuse at 1ohm so this amp is defenitly not for newbes

Strengths:
tons of power if you look hard you can find them cheap looks good great at givin tons of spl

Weaknesses:
gets hot can sound bad when clipped

Review 2 of 6

Price Paid:  $1400.00 from Pulse, Kingstown, St

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 2 Rockford Fosgate bd1500.1

Summary:
I have used these amplifiers on 2 12"W7's and currently I have them driving 4 12"W6v2's. The Punch Bass is excellent and delivers bass even when my Audio Control Epic-160 is not activated. I have clocked 154 decibels using 2 of the 4 Jl's(sealed enclosure)with the gains on both amps on minimum and this year I am hoping to put the 4 speakers in a ported enclosure. The amps are the best I have tried so far after trying 2 Jl's 500/1; 2 Sony X-plod's 760 watts & Directed 1100d.

Strengths:
Lots of power and clarity at both 2 & 4 ohms. Punch Bass is second to none. Great for SPL at 50Hz.

Weaknesses:
Input voltage sensitivity a little bit too low when using processing with built in line drivers and lots of boost(especially over 12dbs), however,it can be eliminated with the use of Audio Control's Over Drive or Matrix.

Review 5 of 6

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Hooked this MONSTER up to my JL Audio 12w7 enclosed into a H.O. Box and it just absolutely slams. If you are looking to pay a little for huge output this is definitely the amp you are looking for.

Strengths:
Power, Power and more Power!!

Weaknesses:
Running this amp for hours at a time will cause it to get hot as hell..just install a fan unit or sometype of cooling system and you will be all set!!
