Review 1 of 6

Price Paid:  $189.00 from Soundomain.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2003

Summary:
What can I not say about this amp. It is awesome. I sqeezed a Kicker Solo-Baric L7 10 into my Single cab 93 Ranger. It slams that subwoofer around with ease. The only problem I have had is fitting it behind my seat. The sound quality is amazing, and it has not overheated yet. I live in Louisiana, heat is a high priority in such a high humidity environment. I highly recommend this amp.

Strengths:
The cosmetic department did a great job on the shroud. The wire terminals are easy to work with. No spade terminals were needed for installation. Definently a value for the money

Weaknesses:
You have to adjust the gain, bass boost, subsonic filter, etc. with a screwdriver.

Similar Products Used:
All Jensen, Sony, Pioneer amps. In order of value. Another to check into is the Cadence Z1000 which is priced the same is smaller and slams even harder. But it is Class-AB

Review 3 of 6

Price Paid:  $330.00 from Tweeter

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Summary:
The Xtant A3001 is a great amp. Only thing is it will not run below 2 ohms. I had it running 2 Kicker XPL 10, which were defective. The speakers were running at 2.8 ohms a piece. The amp would not run at 1.4 ohm. I replaced the speakers and still had problems with the amp. Tweeter gave me a full refund and now I have the A6001. No problems whatsoever. I have them running 2 Kicker Comp VR 10 DVC2Ohm. These things slam.

Strengths:
Powerful amp.

Weaknesses:
Will not run below 2ohm.

Similar Products Used:
Kicker, MTX.

Review 4 of 6

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Singapore

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001/2002

Summary:
Model A6001. This is the bigger brother of the A3001 and you may very well expect the performance to be even better. True enough, it rocks!! I'm running a 0 gauge to my distribution block and a 4 gauge from the block to this amp. The amp requires an external 80A fuse, which tells you a lot about the amount of pure power it can churn out. I'm running a single a/d/s 12" DVC 312rs.2 in a sealed enclosure and hit close to 130db! (low-pass at 70hz) The a/d/s is known as an SQ sub and I never really thought it could hit even 120db. Even the 45hz Bass Boost was at 0 and Subsonic filter was not used. This amp has everything that you need, clean power and features. For SQ listening, the amp controls the sub with precision as every sub-bass note is clean and detail.

Strengths:
Superb SQ and enough power to rock your world when needed. Runs very cool.

Weaknesses:
None so far.

Similar Products Used:
Kicker, Rockford, Xetec, U-Dimension, JL

Price Paid:  $325.00 from Sound Advice

Year / Model Reviewed:
 XTANT 3001TT

Summary:
This thing is king, very under-rated clean quality power. The subsonic filter and very easily to use equalizer lets you really fine tune your subs. Can''''t Beat that price, Gives you what you pay for.

Strengths:
Clean clear power, Ease of use, Fully Regulated Class A/B power.

Weaknesses:
Have to adjust the amp with a screwdriver and does not run 1 ohm stable.

Similar Products Used:
Sony 1000 watt Class D amp.
