Good sound WHEN its operational.

Quality of components, sound quality could be better, reliability concerns!

I was looking to save some money, so i bought the amp in ebay from Sell2All. At first, the amp was alright--THEN---it went ballistic and started cutting off, etc. The amps, as said before, are VERY cheap! I went with a brand new Soundstream VanGogh 500.4-->> MUCH BETTER! Do not buy this amp --anywhere--unless u wanna lose money!

PIECE OF JUNK. STAY AWAY FROM THESE KX series AMPS. Hooked up first amp and protection LED came on. Sent in to Kicker and they took around 3-4 weeks to finally reply and that amp also failed to work. Same problem with the LED protect coming on and amp shutting down. 3rd amp also straight from Kicker same problem. Finally after 1 year warranty gave out it can't be repaired anymore. Bottom line is I'm out about 400 dollars with an amp that several times went in for repair and never got fixed correctly. Now its sitting there in spare bedroom along with the blown kicker CompVR 15" subs. Want to WASTE money be my guest. Don't say I didn't warn you. I've had Lanzar and Pyramid amps that have outperformed and outlived Kicker and costed a hell of a lol cheaper. Good Luck.
